- Start by grabbing a large skillet and warming up 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook them for about 3 to 4 minutes until they’re soft and slightly caramelized. Toss in the garlic and let it simmer for about 30 seconds.
- Next, throw in the sliced turkey kielbasa. Stir it around until it’s beautifully browned on both sides.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the pan. Stir it in and season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, occasionally stirring to help the cabbage soften.
- Check for seasoning and sprinkle on some red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of chicken broth or water to revive flavors.
