Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb turkey kielbasa, sliced into half-moons
  • 1 medium head green cabbage, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) for a kick

Method

Cooking
  1. Start by grabbing a large skillet and warming up 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and cook them for about 3 to 4 minutes until they’re soft and slightly caramelized. Toss in the garlic and let it simmer for about 30 seconds.
  3. Next, throw in the sliced turkey kielbasa. Stir it around until it’s beautifully browned on both sides.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage to the pan. Stir it in and season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, occasionally stirring to help the cabbage soften.
  6. Check for seasoning and sprinkle on some red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Serve hot.
