Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Divided into two portions.
  • 1 bag (28 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables You can use corn, peas, etc.
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup to the browned beef and stir to combine. Fold in the frozen mixed vegetables.
Assembly
  1. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  2. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven and let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or using a layer of cream cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
