Ingredients
  

For the Cups
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts Use store-bought for convenience.
  • 1 cup strawberry jam The sweeter, the better!
  • 1 large egg For a golden finish.
For the Icing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream Add more for a thinner consistency.
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor.
  • Sprinkles Optional, for decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and press them into a muffin tin.
  3. Spoon about a tablespoon of strawberry jam into each crust-lined cup.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of each cup.
Baking
  1. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for about 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Icing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Drizzle icing over slightly cooled cups and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Customization is key! Feel free to use other fruit jams. These Pop-Tart Cups can be made ahead and frozen.
