- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter and mini marshmallows. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Gently stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and add a pinch of salt until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and press down evenly.
- Let the treats cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
For extra strawberry flavor, add a dash of strawberry extract to the melted marshmallows. Use butter on your hands to avoid stickiness.
