Preparation
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Stir in the strawberry puree into the marshmallow mixture until smooth and well combined.
Combine Ingredients
- Remove the saucepan from heat and gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
Shape Treats
- Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it evenly into the pan with a greased spatula or your hands.
- If desired, sprinkle extra mini marshmallows or diced strawberries on top.
Set and Serve
- Allow to cool for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares or rectangles.
Notes
Use frozen strawberries if fresh ones aren't available. Add a few drops of pink food coloring for a fun touch. If the mixture is sticky, coat your hands in butter or cooking spray to help shape it.
