Preparation
- Wash and slice the strawberries, then toss them with a little sugar and let them sit.
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese until smooth, then gently fold in the whipped cream.
Assembly
- Layer the ingredients in a trifle dish or glass bowl, starting with strawberries, followed by the creamy mixture, and a sprinkle of granola. Repeat until ingredients are used up.
- Let the trifle chill in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour.
Serving
- Before serving, top with extra strawberries, a dusting of granola, or chocolate shavings. Serve slightly messy for the best look.
Notes
Can be made a day ahead; add granola just before serving to keep it crunchy. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
