  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade) No judgment here!
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding (instant) Instant works just fine
  • 1 cup crushed cookies (graham crackers or golden Oreos) For that crunch
  • to taste mint for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whip up the instant pudding according to package instructions.
  2. In a trifle bowl, start with a layer of sliced strawberries.
  3. Scoop whipped cream over the strawberries and smooth it out.
  4. Pour a layer of prepared vanilla pudding over the whipped cream.
  5. Sprinkle a layer of crushed cookies on top.
  6. Continue layering strawberries, whipped cream, pudding, and cookies until nearly at the top.
  7. Finish with a crown of whipped cream and whole strawberries for presentation.
  8. Chill the trifle in the fridge for about an hour before serving.

Notes

You can substitute strawberries with blueberries, raspberries, or bananas. Make the layers ahead of time for convenience.
