Ingredients
  

For the Crostini
  • 1 French baguette 1 French baguette (about 12 inches, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces)
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 cup 1 cup of fresh strawberries (sliced, plus a few extra for garnish)
  • to taste Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
  • a pinch Pinch of salt (to enhance flavors)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, honey, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous dollop of the cream cheese mixture on each toasted baguette slice.
  2. Add the sliced strawberries on top in a pretty arrangement.
  3. Drizzle a bit more honey over the crostini and garnish with fresh mint leaves, if using.
Serving
  1. Arrange the crostini on a serving platter and serve immediately.
