Ingredients

For the Crostini
  • 1 large Fresh Baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened Whipped cream cheese can be used.
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Add more if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • Fresh Mint Leaves, for garnish (optional) Adds a pretty touch.
  • Balsamic Glaze, for drizzling Essential for flavor!

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place your sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush each piece lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake the baguette slices for about 5-7 minutes or until they’re golden brown.
  4. In a mixing bowl, blend your softened cream cheese with honey until creamy and smooth.
  5. Remove the baked baguette slices and let them cool slightly.
  6. Spread a generous layer of honey-infused cream cheese on each crostini and top them with slices of strawberry.
  7. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the topped crostini and add torn mint leaves for garnish.

Notes

For best taste, don’t skip the balsamic glaze; it beautifully balances the sweetness of the strawberries. You can substitute cream cheese with goat cheese or ricotta. Store remaining components separately in the fridge for 1-2 days.
