  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Garnish

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Layering
  1. In a greased 9x13 baking dish, spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom.
  2. Dollop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the top.
  3. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the entire dish.
Baking
  1. Drizzle the melted butter over the top, ensuring to cover as much of the cake mix as possible.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
