Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled The juicier, the better!
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls Bocconcini can be used if you're feeling fancy.
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves A handful will do!
  • to taste balsamic glaze For drizzling.
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • wooden skewers Reusable skewers are a more eco-conscious option.

Method

Assembly
  1. Grab a wooden skewer and, starting with a strawberry, thread it onto the skewer. Follow it with a mozzarella ball, and then a basil leaf. Repeat this process until you’ve filled your skewer, leaving a little space at each end for convenient munching.
  2. For maximum deliciousness, repeat this process for all your ingredients, aiming for an uneven number of each.
  3. Lay the assembled skewers on a beautiful platter. Drizzle gently with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Present the skewers to your friends or family and enjoy the vibrant flavors.

Notes

If you're feeling adventurous, try adding a drizzle of honey instead of balsamic for a sweet twist, or wrap a piece of prosciutto around the mozzarella for an extra savory edge. Consider refrigerating the skewers for a bit before serving—they're refreshing on a hot day!
