  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey Add more for sweetness to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For Serving
  • cooked rice For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch until smooth.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces, cooking until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Finishing Touches
  1. Pour the orange sauce over the cooked chicken, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and clings to the chicken, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Spoon the sticky orange chicken over a bed of your favorite rice and drizzle with Yum Yum sauce.

Notes

Adjust sweetness with extra honey if desired. Line baking trays with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Add steamed vegetables or a fresh salad as sides.
