Cooking Steps
- Start by boiling water in a pot. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Once done, drain them and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar.
- In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add a bit of oil and sear the steak slices for about 2-3 minutes until they develop a lovely brown crust. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, toss in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they turn pink.
- Add your bell pepper, carrot, and any other veggies you want to throw in. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes, just until they begin to soften.
- Toss the cooked noodles, seared steak, shrimp, and sauce into the skillet. Stir to ensure everything is beautifully coated. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Top with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
Consider marinating the steak in a bit of the sauce for deeper flavors. This dish can easily be adapted for picky eaters—substitute proteins or veggies as needed.
