Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 8 oz shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz noodles (your choice, rice noodles recommended)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
Sauces and Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • green onions (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by preparing all your ingredients! Slice the steak into thin strips, rinse your shrimp, and get your veggies ready.
Cooking the Noodles
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook your noodles according to the package instructions. Once they’re done, drain them and set aside.
Sautéing the Flavors
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Toss in the garlic and stir until fragrant—about 30 seconds. Add the steak strips and cook until brown on the outside but juicy inside—about 2 to 3 minutes.
Adding Shrimp and Veggies
  1. Sprinkle in the shrimp and toss in the mixed vegetables. Cook everything together until the shrimp turns pink and the veggies are tender but still crisp—about 3-4 minutes.
Mixing in Noodles and Sauces
  1. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet along with soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Gently toss until the noodles are well coated and heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Plate the meal and sprinkle with green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu if preferred. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of water for best results.
