  • 1 cup cream cheese Vegan alternative can be used.
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced For spooky eyes.
  • 2 medium carrots, cut into thin sticks For scary smiles.
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips For scary mouths.
  • as needed food coloring Optional for dyeing cream cheese.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to about 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread a generous amount of cream cheese on the top side of each mini bagel.
  3. Place two slices of black olives on the cream cheese to create spooky eyes.
  4. Use carrot slivers or red pepper strips to create scary mouths under the olive eyes.
  5. Toast the assembled bagels in the oven for about 10 minutes to warm them up.
  6. Optionally, dye the cream cheese with food coloring to add a fun touch.
  7. Let the bagels cool for a minute before serving on a festive platter.
