  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Other
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • optional crushed tortilla chips for topping

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked spaghetti, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, green chilies, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the top with the cheddar cheese and crushed tortilla chips (if using).
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until it’s bubbling and golden brown on top.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a quicker option, use rotisserie chicken. Customize the casserole by adding leftover vegetables. The casserole may look lumpy when mixed, but that adds to its charm.
