  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Toss the chicken cubes into the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Fire up your grill to medium-high heat or warm up a grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken onto your skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  3. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, flipping them halfway through.
  4. In the last couple of minutes, sprinkle a generous amount of grated parmesan cheese over the skewers and let it melt.
Serving
  1. Once done, take the skewers off the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  2. Serve them warm, and enjoy!

Notes

You can bake these skewers in an oven at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes if you don't have a grill. Consider marinading vegetables alongside the chicken for added color and flavor.
