Preparation
- Chop up some fresh parsley and get the garlic minced.
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp with half the Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
- Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and sprinkle the remaining Cajun seasoning on top.
Cooking
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.
- Once hot, add the salmon, skin side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden crusted.
- Flip the salmon carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until done.
- In the same pan, toss in the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked.
Serving
- Serve the salmon and shrimp on a platter, garnished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
Notes
For added flavor, serve with steamed veggies, rice pilaf, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce. This dish balances wonderfully with garlic bread or a refreshing salad.
