Preparation
- Rinse the pork rib tips under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a medium bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until blended.
Marination
- Place the rib tips in a large zip-top bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and let them marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Remove the rib tips from the marinade and brush them with olive oil.
- Place the rib tips on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes to achieve caramelization.
- In the last few minutes of grilling, brush the leftover marinade over the rib tips for extra flavor.
- Once cooked, remove the rib tips from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
If you don't have a grill, you can bake these at 375°F for about 30-35 minutes, broiling for the last 2-3 minutes for caramelization. For a gluten-free option, substitute soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos.
