  • 1 medium onion, chopped For flavor under the ribs.
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Store-bought or homemade.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the beef ribs dry with a paper towel and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the bottom of the slow cooker.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned ribs on top of the chopped onions.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Pour the mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Serving
  1. Once tender, gently pull out the ribs and serve them with extra sauce drizzled on top.
  2. Pair with grilled corn, coleslaw, or a garden salad.

Notes

For a customized sauce, feel free to add hot sauce or a splash of apple cider vinegar for extra brightness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for later. Reheat gently.
