Ingredients
  

For the Ribs
  • 2-3 pounds beef ribs Choose your favorite cut of beef ribs.
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar Adds tanginess to the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Balances the tanginess of vinegar.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For flavoring.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For additional flavor.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Optional: red pepper flakes For a hint of heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the beef ribs dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  2. Place the seasoned ribs into your slow cooker.
  3. Pour the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar over the top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for about 6-8 hours or on high for about 4-5 hours.
  2. For a charred finish, broil them in your oven for a few minutes after they come out of the slow cooker.
Serving
  1. Slice the ribs and serve with extra sauce on the side.

Notes

If you don’t have BBQ sauce, feel free to experiment with different sauces like teriyaki. Leftovers can be shredded for quesadillas or salads.
