  • 1 piece ready-made pie crust Store-bought for convenience
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, spinach, etc.) Use any veggies you have on hand
  • 4 large eggs Fresh, large eggs for best results
  • 1 cup milk Use dairy or dairy-free alternative as desired
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Sharp cheddar is recommended
  • to taste tsp salt Adjust according to preference
  • to taste tsp pepper Adjust according to preference
  • optional favorite herbs (basil, thyme, parsley) Customize with your preferred herbs

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the ready-made pie crust into a pie dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and half of the shredded cheese to the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, until the center is set and golden on top.
  2. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the veggies based on your preference. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
