- Place the pork roast in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the roast, followed by the au jus gravy mix.
- Cut half a cup of butter into tablespoons and place it over the roast.
- Toss in the pepperoncini peppers and pour some of their juice over everything.
- Cover the crock pot and set it on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks directly in the pot, mixing it all together.
- Serve the shredded pork over rice, mashed potatoes, or in a bun.
Notes
For a homemade ranch mix, combine garlic powder, dried dill, onion powder, and salt. Add vegetables like carrots or potatoes for extra bulk. Leftovers taste even better the next day!
