- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, toss in the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the halved Brussels sprouts into the pan and stir to coat them in the bacon fat. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and stir for another minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Pour in the chicken broth and cover the skillet. Let it simmer for 5 more minutes until everything melds together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan on top just before serving.
- Serve the dish on plates, optionally adding extra bacon on top for bacon lovers.
Notes
For additional flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic. You can also include nuts like almonds or walnuts for a delightful crunch.
