Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Chopped into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms Cremini or button mushrooms are recommended.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
Oils and Sauces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Or another oil of your choice.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Tamari for a gluten-free option.
Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Optional: sesame seeds or crushed red pepper For added flavor.

Preparation
  1. Wash and cut your broccoli into small florets and slice the mushrooms.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes, until bright green and crisp.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce over the vegetables, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  6. Serve hot, optionally topped with sesame seeds.

Notes

This dish is fantastic for meal prep. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
