Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (or follow the instructions on your cake mix box) and line a baking tray with cupcake liners.
- Mix the batter according to the package directions and fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
Frosting and Decorating
- Once cooled, generously frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
- Decorate by inserting two mini pretzels for antlers, placing two candy eyes, and adding a red candy for the nose.
Notes
Feel free to use different types of candy for decoration. These cupcakes can be made a day or two ahead; just frost them the day of serving for freshness.
