- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mix into your wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently, if using.
Baking
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out with a spatula.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
If you don't have food coloring, beet juice can be used as a natural substitute, though it won't be as vibrant. Leftover brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for a week.
