  • 1 round sourdough bread (about 1 pound)
  • 8 ounces brie cheese Gooey cheese is a must!
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce Use homemade or store-bought.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme Or substitute with ½ teaspoon dried thyme.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for melting the brie.
  2. Slice the sourdough bread diagonally, ensuring not to cut all the way through.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, thyme, salt, and pepper. Drizzle this concoction into the cuts of the bread.
  4. Cut the brie into thin slices and stuff these pieces into the cuts of the bread along with spoonfuls of cranberry sauce.
  5. Wrap the stuffed sourdough tightly in aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melty and the bread is golden.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly before pulling apart the pieces to serve.

Notes

Customize with different herbs like rosemary or serve warm for the best experience. Store leftovers covered at room temperature for 1-2 days and reheat before enjoying.
