Ingredients
  

Dough and Sauce
  • 1 batch Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade) You can use puff pastry or crescent rolls as alternatives.
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce Feel free to use your favorite brand.
Filling Ingredients
  • 1-2 cups Cheese (mozzarella works great)
  • to taste Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, veggies, sausage) Customize as you like!
Miscellaneous
  • as needed Cooking spray For a non-stick finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly spray your skull pan with cooking spray.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  4. Cut circles of dough large enough to fill the skull molds, using a round cutter.
Assembly
  1. Place a circle of dough in the bottom of each skull mold.
  2. Spoon pizza sauce on top, sprinkle with cheese, and add your toppings.
  3. Top with another dough circle and press the edges to seal.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can assemble pizza skulls ahead of time and refrigerate. Let them sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before baking. If you don't have a skull pan, use a muffin tin instead.
