Ingredients
  

For the Brie Bites
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small squares
  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled and chopped
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • tablespoon olive oil for drizzling for enhanced crispiness
For the Fig Honey Glaze
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Set the brie squares aside.
Mix the Coating
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine chopped pistachios, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt.
Coat the Brie
  1. Dip each square of brie into the pistachio mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Bake
  1. Arrange the coated brie bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the coating is golden brown.
Make the Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan, combine fig jam, honey, and lemon juice over medium heat.
  2. Stir until blended and warm, about 3-5 minutes.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Remove the bites from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  2. Drizzle the warm fig honey glaze over the bites just before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap the fig glaze for sweet chili sauce or balsamic reduction. You can prep and freeze the bites beforehand.
