Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, oil, and strawberry jello mix. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well blended.
- Gently fold in the crushed Oreos.
Baking
- Pour the batter evenly into two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Frosting
- In a bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until you have a smooth consistency.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos to your frosting.
Assembly
- Once cooled, lay one cake layer on a plate and slather on some frosting.
- Top with the second layer and generously frost the top and sides.
- Garnish with additional Oreo crumbs on top.
Notes
