Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the little smokies to the bowl and ensure they are well coated with the sauce.
Baking
- Transfer the smokies and sauce to the greased baking dish, spreading them out evenly.
- Top with pineapple chunks.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until heated through.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and serve hot.
Notes
Make it ahead by preparing it a day in advance and storing in the fridge. Can be frozen in an airtight container and reheated later. For a spicy version, add crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
