  • 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese Substitute with feta if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries Adds a sweet-tart flavor.
Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin olive oil recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash your mixed salad greens and dry them using a salad spinner or towel.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine the salad greens, sliced pears, walnuts, dried cranberries, and crumbled goat cheese.
Making the Dressing

Notes
