- In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste it and adjust as needed.
- In a large bowl, toss the mixed greens with enough vinaigrette to coat them lightly.
- Layer in the sliced pears, candied pecans, and goat cheese. Toss gently to ensure everything is nicely distributed.
- Transfer the salad to a serving platter or individual plates. Drizzle a bit more vinaigrette on top and serve immediately.
Notes
You can prep the salad and vinaigrette ahead of time and keep them separate in the fridge until ready to serve. Feel free to experiment with different nuts or add dried cranberries.
