  • to taste candy eyes To decorate the truffles.
Optional Equipment
  • 2 bat-shaped cookie cutters To shape the truffles (optional).

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with softened cream cheese until it’s a smooth dough.
Chilling
  1. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions, roll into balls, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Melting
  1. While the bats are chilling, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
Dipping & Decorating
  1. Remove the truffles from the fridge and dip each into the melted chocolate, fully coating it. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
  2. Sprinkle the tops with edible black glitter or sprinkles, and place candy eyes on top while they’re still tacky.
Setting
  1. Chill the completed truffles in the fridge again for about 15 minutes to set.
  2. Serve on a platter or in a bat-shaped dish for fun.
