Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually stir in the crushed graham crackers until fully combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Shaping Truffles
- Once chilled, scoop the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the truffles for another 30 minutes.
Coating and Garnishing
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, shaking off the excess before returning them to the lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle extra orange zest on top of each truffle.
Finishing Touch
- Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate is set, then serve or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Consider adding a splash of orange liqueur for an adult version. These truffles make great gifts if packaged nicely.
