Ingredients
  

Truffle Base
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
Coating
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Melted for dipping.
  • extra orange zest For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually stir in the crushed graham crackers until fully combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Shaping Truffles
  1. Once chilled, scoop the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Freeze the truffles for another 30 minutes.
Coating and Garnishing
  1. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, shaking off the excess before returning them to the lined baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle extra orange zest on top of each truffle.
Finishing Touch
  1. Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate is set, then serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Consider adding a splash of orange liqueur for an adult version. These truffles make great gifts if packaged nicely.
