  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Cooking Pasta
  1. In a large pot, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Add a pinch of salt to the water and stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Once done, drain and set aside.
Searing Beef
  1. In the same pot, add a tablespoon of olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Toss in the steak pieces and season with salt and pepper. Sear until nicely browned, about 3-4 minutes.
Adding Flavor
  1. Add in the butter and minced garlic, stirring for an additional minute until fragrant.
  2. Sprinkle in the red pepper flakes for a spicy kick based on your preference.
Incorporating Cream
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and stir together, scraping up the flavorful brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
Final Mixing
  1. Fold in the cooked pasta, ensuring each piece is coated in the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Don’t worry if your sauce looks a little lumpy; it’s a part of the magic! Taste as you go to make sure seasoning is just right.
