  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Plus more for dusting
  • 1 cup plain yogurt Greek yogurt is a good option
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder The magic that makes them rise

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yogurt, and baking powder. Knead until you have a soft dough, adding more flour if it's sticky.
  2. Divide the dough into smaller balls about the size of a golf ball and roll them into circles.
  3. Flatten the balls into discs about ½ inch thick, dusting with flour if they stick.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook each disc for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Cover the skillet for a minute to help the discs puff up.
  3. Remove from heat and cover with a kitchen towel to keep warm.

Notes

You can add herbs like oregano or thyme to the dough for extra flavor. Leftovers can be enjoyed for breakfast or with soups. Kids love this fluffy bread!
