Ingredients

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cups ¼ cup granulated sugar
For the filling
  • 2 cups 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups 1 cup peanut butter creamy, crunchy, or both—your choice!
  • 1 cups 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cups 1 cup whipped cream or more if you want extra fluffiness
For the topping
  • Chocolate sauce for drizzling
  • Chopped peanuts optional, but they add a delightful crunch!

Method

Prepare the Crust
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even crust.
Whip Up the Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cheesecake
  1. Pour the filling over the ready crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  2. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Run a knife around the edges of the cheesecake before unclipping the springform pan.
  2. Drizzle chocolate sauce on top and sprinkle with chopped peanuts, if desired.
  3. Slice, serve, and enjoy each delicious bite!

Notes

For an extra twist, add some crushed Oreos to the crust. If the filling seems too thick, add a bit more whipped cream!
