Method
Preparation of the Crust
- In a large mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until the crumbs are moistened.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Making the Filling
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add in powdered sugar, Nutella, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture until well blended.
Assembly and Setting
- Spoon the filling onto your crust, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least four hours, ideally overnight.
Serving
- Carefully remove the sides of the springform pan.
- Slice and serve, drizzling extra Nutella on top if desired.
Notes
To enhance the texture, consider adding chopped hazelnuts to the filling.
