Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese The fresher, the better!
  • 1 cup pizza dough Store-bought, because life is busy!
  • black olives For the eyes and mouth, adding the perfect creepy touch
  • oil spray To keep things from sticking
  • parmesan cheese For a sprinkle of flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Use a skull-shaped cutter or a glass to cut out shapes and place them on an oiled baking sheet.
  4. Break apart the mozzarella cheese into small chunks and place in the center of each dough cutout.
  5. Cover with another skull-shaped dough piece, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Use a toothpick or knife to carve tiny eyes and mouths on the skulls, and insert pieces of black olives.
  7. Spray each skull lightly with oil and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the skulls are golden brown.

Notes

If you’re feeling adventurous, add herbs or spices to your dough, like Italian seasoning or garlic powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days and reheat in the oven.
