For the Smokies
  • 1 package 14 oz package of Little Smokies The star of the show!
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Use your favorite!
  • 1 cup grape jelly Trust the process!
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce For that extra kick!
  • sliced green onions Optional; for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, grape jelly, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium-low until smooth.
  2. Add Little Smokies to the saucepan, stirring to coat well in the sauce.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
  4. Transfer the cooked smokies to a serving dish. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat. You can also make this in a slow cooker on low for 2-3 hours. For leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
