  • 1 medium head medium head of green cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste (white or yellow)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced because garlic makes everything better!
  • to taste Salt

  • optional Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or chives) if you’re feeling fancy

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut your cabbage into wedges, about 1 inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, blend the melted butter, miso paste, honey (or maple syrup), and garlic until smooth.
  4. Place your cabbage wedges on a baking sheet and brush generously with the miso butter mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
  6. Roast for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Once roasted, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes
