- In a large skillet, heat your olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef (or turkey) and cook until it’s browned.
Mixing
- Stir in the cooked rice, marinara sauce, and frozen vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper, and combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Allow to mingle for about 5 minutes.
Cheese Melting
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and lower the heat, allowing the cheese to melt.
Serving
- After about 5-7 minutes, remove the lid and serve hot.
Notes
Customize it by adding your favorite veggies or swapping meats. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave.
