  • 1 round loaf 1 round loaf of bread (a crusty artisan variety works best!)
  • 1 8-ounce wheel 1 (8-ounce) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup 1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (or thyme) For aromatic touch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut a circle in the top of the bread loaf, creating a lid. Remove the insides to form a bowl.
  3. Place the brie inside the bread bowl. Optionally, slice the top off the brie.
  4. Pour your cranberry sauce over the brie and sprinkle fresh rosemary or thyme on top.
Baking
  1. Place your bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
  2. Encourage guests to pull off pieces of the bread bowl and dive into the cheesy goodness.

Notes

If the brie spills out, consider it a sign of deliciousness! Customize with toppings like toasted nuts or fresh fruit. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers in the fridge.
