Preparation
- Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to help you lift the fudge out later.
- In a saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring frequently until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped maraschino cherries, nuts (if using), and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
- Once firm, use the overhanging parchment to lift it out of the pan and cut into squares.
Serving
- Sit down with a piece (or two) and enjoy your creation!
Notes
Chop the maraschino cherries well; big chunks can make the fudge harder to slice. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week. Consider adding different mix-ins for variations.
