  • 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce adjust to your spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh cilantro optional but highly recommended

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for crispy cauliflower.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, sriracha, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Drizzle the maple sriracha mixture over the cauliflower and toss until all florets are coated.
Cooking
  1. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  2. Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve warm.

Notes

Substitute sriracha with any hot sauce if necessary. For a heartier meal, consider adding chickpeas or serving over quinoa. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
