  • 1 loaf fresh Italian bread or your favorite crusty bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest for zingy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional red pepper flakes for a kick of heat

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. If desired, add red pepper flakes.
  3. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise, lay cut side up on a baking sheet, and spread the garlic butter mixture generously on each half.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped lobster meat over the buttered bread and press down lightly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  2. For an extra crispy finish, switch to broil for one minute, watching carefully.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven, slice into portions, and serve warm. Pair with a fresh salad or chilled white wine.

Notes

For a quick option, use pre-cooked lobster meat. You can also substitute the Italian bread with a baguette or ciabatta. A drizzle of olive oil before serving enhances the richness.
