Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey. Season it with taco seasoning.
- Spread the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet in an even layer.
- Once the meat is cooked, layer it over the chips, followed by black beans, jalapeños, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
Baking
- Place the nachos in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and drizzle with sour cream and guacamole. Add hot sauce according to taste.
- Serve immediately with a serving spoon.
Notes
Opt for thick tortilla chips; they’ll hold up better under the weight of all those toppings! Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for crispy goodness.
