Preparation
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until combined.
- In a rectangular dish (9x13), start with a layer of graham crackers at the bottom, placing them snugly against each other.
- Pour half of the chocolate pudding mixture over the graham crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Spread half of the whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Repeat the layering process with another layer of graham crackers, the remaining pudding, and the rest of the whipped topping.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top as decoration.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
For added flavors, consider adding peanut butter or caramel layers. Crushed graham crackers can be used for a different texture. Ensure the pudding sets nicely by allowing for ample chilling time.
